If you haven’t tried the lemonade apples you should they are crisp and crunchy, somewhere between sweet and tart and they don’t brown up. The apples arrived well packaged with very few bruises. I will buy them again.
Immediately upon opening the box of apples, 6/12 were bad (bruised & discolored). I just threw them out in the backyard. Sent an email and requested half of my money be refunded, which they did very quickly but just disappointed. The fact that someone would package bruised and discolored apples to a first time customer is wild. Won’t be ordering from them again.
I was really looking forward to trying this new variety. I received the fruit with half having been bruised. The packaging was not damaged, so I assume it was bruised before being shipped. The fruit did not taste fresh when sampling one of the unbruised apples. I am disappointed, needless to say and have contacted the seller for refund or credit. Not sure what else to do.
Found them at Traders Joe's and ate 2 bags in a week. Sadly my store is out. Love how crisp they are. Perfect crunch and nicely tangy.
I purchased for the novelty. The box itself was beat to heck when I got it, which naturally jacked up the apples. They were good, but I personally wouldn't pay that kind of money for them again.
